The Need Was Real - So We Met It.

Reliable childcare often felt impossible to find for faculty and staff, while students struggled to secure flexible, meaningful jobs that worked around their academics.

Raya & Sydelle saw two underserved communities. Bringing them together felt seamless. What began with one simple match - student sitter helping a parent - quickly spread by word of mouth, and demand took off as faculty and staff shared their experiences.

How we got here

Oct 2024

Joined New Venture Deliver at Duke University, formed my first startup team with classmates & launched our first MVP and began collecting user feedback.

Apr 2025

Invited to pitch at Duke’s Startup Showcase; awarded $10,000 in non-dilutive funding and received the Bochardt Prize to recognize one of the highest impact Undergraduate Ventures.

Jul 2025

Accepted into the Melissa & Doug Entrepreneurs Program, Duke’s most prestigious startup accelerator—attended workshops, received mentorship, and significantly advanced the venture’s growth.

Sep 2025

Began gaining recognition across campus and forming collaborations and partnerships with Duke-affiliated groups; grew the user base to over 1,000 users while continuously refining product–market fit.

Nov 2025

Working toward launching a fully automated, functional mobile app, eliminating manual operations and enabling scalable growth.

Event Childcare Support

$250 Flat Fee + $20-$25/hour per sitter

Includes:

Event coordination fee: $250 Flat Fee (covers sitter sourcing, scheduling, coordination, and on call support); subject to change based on event

Sitter hourly rate: $20-$25 per hour per sitter

Scope ranges from supplying sitters for Duke–hosted events to full childcare coordination, depending on event needs
